But such is the idiosyncratic and unpredictable nature of ‘the Muse’! (She frequently goes AWOL for long periods but when she does turn up and wants something written it has to be done!)
I’m not going to exhort you to ‘Enjoy!’ — not least because that all-too-commonly heard suggestion triggers me badly — but also because you might not (even if I’d like to hope that is extremely unlikely)… The best I can hope for is that you don’t ask for your money back… and as long as that is that case… many thanks!”
